Family Meal is a magazine for food and beverage lovers featuring interviews with industry leaders, recipe ideas, reviews of the hottest new bars and restaurants, and other unique perspectives on the world of hospitality. The magazine is geared toward young, urban foodies who actively seek out the coolest places to take their friends and pride themselves on their contributions to the BBQ.

I took inspiration from publications like Lucky Peach, Eater, and Punch when thinking about the voice of the magazine. Maintaining this voice and tone across each spread was crucial, and throughout the process I did temperature checks to make sure to maintain consistency without sacrificing Family Meal’s dynamic personality.
